Hi, I'm going to try the melted Crayola crayon art project. I've been looking at crayon projects for a while and I really wanted to try one. So I went to Michaels the other day and I got the art supplies: a canvas board and
Crayola crayons. I got the project set up with the Crayolas on the canvas. I tried to put the crayons kind of in order, and I took out the ugly colors, LOL. This is just going to be a trial run, so hopefully it works...But I have a huge pack of Crayola crayons to try this art project later if I can make it work. So hopefully the project works out, let's try it. I really hope it works, LOL...
Alright, so I'm finished (see above). The art is not too bad...Some suggestions for the project next time:
- Use lots of crayon colors - a lot more colors - because this art kind of looks blobby. There's some pretty dark colors and not enough light colors.
- Make sure the Crayola crayons are pretty close together, because spaces really do make the colors not too fun to mix.
- Place crayons across the (entire) top of the canvas board. I kind of tried to flare the crayon colors out towards the edge of the board to try and make the art project look better. But I think it would've been better if the Crayolas spread all the way across the board.
- Maybe do a black background. I think that would be pretty cool...
Thanks!
