Hey, guys, what's going on? TNA97 here...I got a couple of requests asking, basically, how to do a stage - you know, a basic WWE/WWF stage using Sony Vegas. So I'm here today to show you that beast of nature with CM Punk. Anyway...
I've got the basic things that you need, which is a WWE stage, a couple of graphics - I'll give you a good website for that - a background, and an actual titantron. What we're going to do is stick your stage in (here's the
download link)...and green-screen it - I'm just going to fiddle around with that. And put the background underneath the stage (in the Sony Vegas Timeline). So you've got your stage and your graphics on it, and it's looking pretty sweet...
Enter a new video jacket...So, you've got that. Now you're going to insert your WWE video. I'm going to trim it down a bit, because it's a little bit blank.
Then you're going to have to shrink the titantron down to size. What I do is leave it a little too big (2:07). And then go to the actual clip, and shrink it down so that the actual size is correct. (When I made the stage, I screwed it up.) Now you've got that, you've got your WWE titantron on, you've got your background on. Now let's just get everything to the right kind of size. Extend them all out to a set size...
You're going to start setting your actual graphics. I've got the "CM Punk" one that's going to go on the WWE minitron. So we're just going to shrink that graphic on down because it's still a little too big...perfect. You have to keep doing this for, you know, each one you want to put on. You can make the WWE graphics move if you want to, but I'm not going to. I'm move one graphic down a bit and move it to the side, so it's on the sideboard LED thing...
I actually don't know its name. If you know its name, put a comment down because I really don't know it. I call it the sideboard of the LED panel. Whatever...
Now, a little one more part on: left bit of the minitron, shrink it down, keep shrinking it. There we go (4:10). So that's pretty much it. You've got yourself a basic WWE stage. I do a lot more advanced things (in Sony Vegas). I spent 5 minutes on this animation, but I'll spend 5 hours on another one if it's got pyro. But that's pretty much it. Then you just set the animation to render...This is going to take a really, really long time because my computer is slow...
You've got everything in the right place, you've got your music on, you've got your lights. No, you haven't got your lights, you've got something different. I don't know how to do the lights yet, I need to go ask someone who knows how to do them. Anyway, thanks, and I'll see you later...
