    Xmas Reindeer Cupcakes

    So you're going to need:

    - something to mix (your batter) with
    - cupcake baking cups
    - cupcake pan to bake them in
    - M&M's for the reindeer noses
    - mini M&M's for the reindeer eyes (pupils). You can also use black icing or mini chocolate chips.
    - 1 cup of water
    - 1/3 cup of oil
    - 3 eggs
    - mini marshmallows for the reindeer eyeballs
    - of course, cupcake mix, which is cake mix
    - vanilla wafers
    - pretzels (for reindeer antlers)
    - as well as chocolate frosting

First you want to start with the cake mix. Add one cup of water to it (in a bowl), then 3 eggs, and one-third cup of oil. I'm just using canola oil; actually, (the label) says canola, olive oil, and grapeseed oil. A ton of different oils, just add them all. It looks kind of green - weird...

Then you turn on the mixer and mix (the contents of the bowl). You want to mix the batter until it's a very smooth consistency and you don't see any more lumps in it.

The next thing you want to do is take the baking cups and use them to line the cupcake pan. There we are (1:45)...Take a scooping cup and fill each baking cup probably about two-thirds full.

Now that we've placed all the cups in the cupcake pans, we're just going to place them in the oven for 18 minutes at 350 degrees. So for the next almost 20 minutes - actually, probably like 30, since you want the cupcakes to cool down a little bit - you're just going to do whatever you want and come back later...

So after about 18 minutes, your cupcakes should be cooked by then. To tell if they're cooked, stick a toothpick inside one. You can kind of determine whether the cupcake is cooked on the inside if, when you pull out the toothpick, there's nothing left on the toothpick; then the cupcake is cooked. If there's still some residue on the toothpick, then you need to bake the cupcakes a little longer.

I took the cupcakes out of the cupcake pans and put them in a regular baking pan. I let them cool for about 10 minutes. You just want to ice the cupcakes all over their tops...

Now that we have our cupcakes frosted...we're going to take our vanilla wafers and open the package. Open your pack of M&M's. You still want to keep your chocolate frosting around - so hopefully you have some left - because you're still going to need it for future references. You also want to open your marshmallows. Then you have your reindeer antlers (bag of pretzels) opened, and your mini M&M's. I'm just going to take a plate and put all my little ingredients onto the plate (4:23). The M&M's are still in their bag and that's totally fine.

We're now just going to finish up the rest of the reindeer cupcakes:

    1. Use frosting to stick the pretzel antlers on.
    2. Cut mini marshmallows in half. Use icing once again to stick them on.
    3. Same with the reindeer 'snout' (vanilla wafers).
    4. Take mini M&M's and stick them onto the white marshmallows.
    5. With the frosting as 'glue,' stick the big M&M's in the middle of the reindeer snout.

So this is how our reindeer cupcake looks like (see above). You can definitely decorate it however you'd like to. But I definitely made my reindeer a little bit silly.

So I hope you guys enjoyed this project. You can do it with all your friends, family, cousins, neighbors, strangers - you know, whoever. Thank you so much, have a wonderful holiday, and I will talk to you guys soon. Bye!
